Athlone Stadium

The Athlone Stadium is often referred to as the ‘home of football’. It featured as a key training venue during the 2010 FIFA World Cup and hosted eight matches as part of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in 2014. The facility is primarily used for soccer and hosts local, national and international matches, as well as music concerts and community events.
